MURIEL C.F. VAN TEESELING
Dr. Muriel van Teeseling was trained as an ecological microbiologist and microbial cell biologist in Nijmegen, Umeå and Marburg. She spends her days happily supervising, writing and thinking about bacterial cell biology.

Tom joined the lab in March 2021 as joint student with the Jogler lab. He tries to find out how cells reel in nutrients with voracious curiosity, serious microscopy and image analysis skills.
CARMEN E. WURZBACHER
BSc student (Honours)
Carmen joined the lab in June 2021. She is on top of 17 environmental strains, all with an exceptional cell biology using her many talents, including newly acquired coding and Russian skills.

Imesha joined the lab in July 2021. She zooms in to the bacterial chromosome with a talent for efficient image analysis.
Hanan joined the lab in July 2021. She tracks down chromosomal loci through time with an eye for detail.
